the sea at torre canne - fasano
this coast belongs to natural reserve
This coastline is part of the protected nature reserve Parco Naturale Regionale Dune Costiere da Torre Canne a Torre San Leonardo. It is an expansive parkland featuring beachfront dunes, wetlands, wildlife & centuries-old olive groves. Torre Canne however is a busy and lively seaside village, it can be exceptionally crowded, especially in July and August.
Close to Torre Canne itself and it's lighthouse the beach is rather narrow. There are several bars and restaurants which rent sunbeds and parasols. Especially this area can be really packed during summer time. This is great if you love a busy beach vibe and pulsing music, but could be annoying if you don't like crowds. In that case it is better to find a piece of public beach South of Torre Canne or choose one of the many beach clubs over there with long sandy beaches, dunes and Mediterranean scrub. You can also do this North of Torre Canne, some more exclusive beach clubs are available there . Scroll down for more information about all the beach clubs.
