The pleasant park just outside the city centre is great for an evening stroll, daytime picnic, or even a morning jog. Plenty of shaded areas make for great places to get away from the summer heat in the grass. There are a few duck-inhabited ponds here.

At the end of the northern cala of Brindisi, between the center and the neighborhoods towards Casale, you can find the Parco del Cillarese. Its a green lung in the middle of the city of Brindisi that will give you a well-deserved break from the more urban area. The park offers a wide variety of flora and wetland fauna, including several beautiful palm trees.
how to get there
The parc is open 24 hours. You can best reach it by going down the road from Brindisi historic center. It is possible to walk down to the park , but then you have to go back up again. You can also take a bus, many lines pass by, including those to the airport. You can also go by car, parking for example on Via Provinciale San Vito or Via del Lavoro.
