the police beach
Lido Polizia, the Police beach, named after the old police station that lies next to it, can be found 3 km north of the Brindisi city center. It is a small bay with crystal blue water and pure clear fine sand, so no special shoes required. It has a very flat water entry . This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travelers, relaxation, families with children, seniors etc. It is quite crowded during the summer season.

Lido Polizia is completely occupied by beach clubs. The beach facilities are only available to paying visitors. Their offer includes, sunbeds and umbrellas, restaurant, changing rooms, shower, toilets. Sometimes it is possible to do some water activities such as catamarans or jet skis. During the season this beach is supervised by a lifeguard.
how to get there
Access to the beach is convenient via the coastal SP41. Parking is located directly along the beach. You can also take a STP bus line from Brindisi city. For example line 4.
Tip: this beach is located directly next to the very romantic cala Conchetta Pescatori and is only separated from it by a narrow rock point. So both beaches can be easily combined.
