Cala Materdomini is located in Brindisi about 2,5 km from the city center, between the Brindisi Marina and the airport area. Cala Materdomini belongs to a small several bays coastline with blue water and gray sand, so no special shoes needed. With it's low water entry this beach is suitable for different categories of people and great voor snorkling along the rock points on the sides. Materdomini offers free access for everyone.
In terms of surrounding nature, this is not the most beautiful beach, but it is the easiest opportunity for a beach day near the city. It can be easily combined with a walk on the long sea wall Diga Puntariso. And within a few minutes you can walk to the beautiful Brindisi sports Marina with its shining yachts and catering establishments.

how to get there
The beach stretches along the sunny coast and getting there is not difficult. If your accommodation is not far from the beach, you can reach it on foot or bicycle . In this case you are not bound by parking or by the public transport schedule. If you travel by car, just use your navigation system. conca and la conchetta
Immediately North in very short walking distance of Cala Materdomini you will find the little narrow rocky bays of Conca and Conchetta. The first of which is well known in Brindisi because the spectacle of the New Year's dive takes place there every year. Both cala's are also great voor snorkling.
